was wondering if anyone has been to travellers rest in fareham? its a pub with a campsite bit at the back. just wanted a bit of info on it as i cant find anything on internet about it. many thanks.

The only pub I know of in Fareham called the Travellers Rest closed years ago and then eventually was sold and turned into a house. How long ago were you told about it because I don't know of another one with that name.

just recently. we phoned them on saturday and booked for 7 nights in july. the address is church road, newtown, fareham.

That's interesting and it's just down the road from Fareham, I didn't know there was a pub with camping facilities there. Might be nosey one day and go and have a look.
