Hi Dobs, We took our two girls (7 & 4) there for a week 2 years running but stayed in a static. From what I remember of the camping site it looked a little crowded. The entertainment, pool and facilities were good but as with all these places the food was expensive. Nice location for hitting Weymouth and the surrounding area.

Hi Dobs

We live just down the road from Seaview and have visited friends who have camped there.  Personally I hate the hi-di-hi atmosphere of these places, although they always seem to be improving facilities, etc.

It's a large site and the static vans seem to go on forever.  The campsite is separated into hardstanding for caravans and campers and the pitches are quite close together.  The tent pitches are very close together and it looked like guy ropes were having to cross to fit them all in.  It's also sited at the very edge of the park and is quite a hike to and from most of the facilities.

There are other, nicer sites, in the area.  Have you thought about West Fleet or East Fleet Farm?

Remember, this is only a personal view - others may enjoy the holiday camp atmosphere.

Hi Dods ........ we spent an October half term at Seaview ..... Grandson loved the swimming, haven mates bit and all the free space infront of the van to ride his bike and fly his kite etc. lol ..... we enjoyed the camping - (not sure I could do it now, as the camping is right at the top of the site - knees would never get me up there lol)
The Warden on the camping side, was very friendly and helpfully
Showers loo's etc were ok (seen better, but also seen worse)

There a super ball playing area - with marked pitches (basketball/five a side) and play area opposite (slides, climbing frames etc)

We were pitch by the railings and the picture was taken from the van - what a view to wake up to .........
