Hi everyone.

Am intending to go up to the North East sometime this spring/summer with my folding camper.Ive never been before and would welcome any recommendations on where to camp.Would like a location near to water,lake or sea as we have a kayak.Not too fussed about a lively club,although that wouldnt put me off,as long as theres a bit of life,a pub or two wouldnt go a miss.All suggestions welcome.

The White Water Park at Stockton On Tees, is a great site. It's situated right next to the Tees Barrage. It's a CC Site but you don't need to be a member to stay there. It's a really nice site, with good clean facilities and close ro a large Retail Park, where theres shops, restaurants, a cinema and loads more.
