Have you been yet? We went at beginning of June. Lovely area. Campsite was nice and clean and quiet but wouldn't say it was most outstanding campsite we have ever used. I have posted a log but it hasn't been published yet. We stayed on the lower field which seemed to get a bit water logged when it rained (so may be a problem at the moment!). There is an upper camping area which I would say was nicer than the lower field however, the tent pitches back on to vertical drops so was totally unsuitable for our young family. The children loved all the neighbours (sheep & horses) and we saw plenty of birds of prey. Shops are a problem so you have to plan your meals. We used Tesco in Porthmadog a lot - which you get to by crossing the most rickety toll bridge ever! (40p toll). Let me know how you get on!
hi futter family we go tomorrow 28th was a bit worried about going with all the rain and that, but were just going to go for it. we have booked an electric hook up so i dont know which field we will be in. i have a feeling the weather will be fine :-))) here is hoping anyway.
