have a look at the craghoppers dri pac range basically a dry bag inside a rucksack, OH has one and it has an incredibly comfortable harness, always feels light as a fether compared to mine - although I am now beginning to suspect foul play

have decided to use DS1 sports bag on weels along with small rucksack for when we do the 6 mile hike around Edale which i have "forgotten" to mention to DS2..
