This looks very similar to the Terra Nova Competition which does also have an inner tent to benefit during inclement weather. Do remember that N America does not understand RAIN as we do! A single skin tent will get VERY wet inside due to condensation, especially in the rain!

+1.
It may also be worth adding that the double-skinned Laser Competition weighs about 0.5kg less than this tent, although the ultra-lightweight pegs that come with the Laser Competition are all but useless, so let's say 0.4kg less.
Hi ZIZAG (finally got round to registering), it was good to see you and the family yesterday.
Hi to everyone else too (first time poster here)
I currently have the Scarp pitched in the garden if you fancy a look. I've owned the Scarp for well over 12 months now and have used it in a range of conditions, including torrential rain, high winds and heavy snow. I own a number of other tents too, including the Terra Nova Laser Competition.
The Scarp is in fact a twin skinned / double walled tent. I have the UK version with the lower fly and the solid inner rather than the mesh inner. It is a true 4 season tent that copes with adverse weather conditions, particularly high winds and snow, much better than the laser competition IMO. This is a result of the the very taut pitch you are able to achieve, the PitchLoc system, and the additional / optional crossing poles for snow loading.
As sanhozay has pointed out the the laser comp is lighter, but the pegs that are supplied with it are a complete joke, aimed at getting the tent below the 1kg mark, and aren't fit for purpose IMO (and many others). The laser comp can also be a bit of a faff to pitch, and even when you manage to pitch it taut, it still flaps in the wind. The Scarp on the other hand pitches very easily and as tight as a drum. The Scarp is also much roomier than the laser comp. Plus, you get the added flexibility of 2 porches / 2 entrances. Overall, the Scarp is well worth the extra weight IMO.
As discussed, I have no real need for the laser comp anymore, so feel free to call round and pick mine up anytime you wish. It'll defo help get your overall carrying weight down and you might even find it comfortable.
