Hy, has any one do this?

I am planning on cycleing from coast to coast using the TPW and would like to know of suitable campsites enroute going West S'port to East Hornsea. Also would be interested on time scales thinking of 2 day fast ride but more a 3 day pleasure ride.

I've walked the whole of the section between Southport and Altrincham so can give you any advice on that part you might wish. I don't really know much about the biking side of things though. I can tell you that Merseyside doesn't have a great deal of camp sites, fortunately when I was thinking of doing the route I have the luxury of living in South Liverpool within a few miles of the Way.
