What would anyones preference be, I am stuck.

Is for motorbike camping in France/Spain. Ticks all the boxes I need, big for the two people, sturdy, freestanding and quick to pitch after a day on the road and fits in my topbox.

I am leaning to the Vango but any thoughts?

Good dilemma to have, both are capable tents. A couple of things worth weighing that don't always come up:

The 'Poly' on the Mongar is the real differentiator. A polyester fly won't sag when it's wet, holds its tension overnight and shrugs off strong UV far better than siliconised nylon, which is genuinely worth having for Spanish sun and if you're pitched in one spot for a few days. The trade-off is it's a bit heavier and packs bulkier, which matters when you're fighting to shut a topbox. If pack size is tight, measure the flat-packed length against the box before you commit; it's usually the pole bag that won't fit, and that can happily ride in a pannier.

Second, 'freestanding' still needs pegging to be properly stormworthy, and French/Spanish aires and gravel pitches chew up soft supplied pegs, so chuck in a few decent alloy V-pegs or a couple of rock pegs. Also compare how many porches each has, as two doors/porches is a big win for two of you (a boot-and-kit store each).

For a quick pitch after a long day in the saddle, whichever one goes up fly-and-inner together will save your sanity in the rain, so that's the spec I'd let decide it. Happy to go deeper on pack sizes or pitching order if it helps.
