The kids in the Simpsons t-shirts are our two. The rest are an assortment of kids they played with. In that pic, they had just been toasting marshmallows on another families barbecue. Our tent looks tidy because they are pics taken not long after pitching. ;-p

We stayed there just before schools broke up...loved the site & area too! I was particularly fond of swinging on the bottom gate

May return for an Autumn camp & explore the forest trails..it was too hot for walking when we went, so spent most days on the coast.

I nearly booked here last week but was put off by the no campfire rule (which I completely understand in view of the surroundings) but notice you had a fire pit with charcoal and sticks in and wondered if they would be ok with the crackle logs you can buy ? Just thought I'd ask as they may have given an indication . Great pics by the way
