Fantastic site as all the other reviews have said kids loved the freedom and rope swing.

Great pics, we stayed about 5 years ago in the Wigwams, keep meaning to join CC&C so we can visit with tent too. One of my fav sites lovely owners too.

This was us last weekend too. We saw you, kept looking down to check you were OK when the wind got up. Yes, a lovely site, we had a nice, relaxing weekend and the view is lovely.

Hi Keanonwuk yes indeed was pitch 8 it was a pure fluke this happened as I booked online and this was the first EHU pitch that came up on the website & I didn't scroll down or click on the actual pitch description but lucky us it was a great pitch and I think the best EHU tent pitch , this would be my choice every time now.

D&G is a great place to visit - so many folk clatter up the M6/M74 and pass us by - missing so much. The rolling farmland of the east to the majestic peaks of mid Galloway the Galloway Forest Park with its 'Dark skies Park, super wee market towns - Castle Douglas, Kirkcudbright, Dalbeattie - aye our region has it all.
