Lovely Pictures!
So this was another Scottish West Coast thread, I really feel a summer holiday there for me and OH coming closer and closer...

Maybe the midges have mutated lately, and have become resistant to Avon Skin so Soft???...

Fabulous wee taster for me your piccies Mrs McT I'm off to Port Ban(pitch 28 non EHU) with my Monty6 1st week in August so should be paddling on that beach in 2-3 weeks time....And promise I will keep up the tradition of a fire on the beach of an evening...

I usually go further down that coast...But have been wanting to try Port Ban for a while...Hoping to add to my collection of sunset piccies when I am there....

Lovely photos. Don't you just love seeing kids enjoying the outdoors without a mobile phone stuck to their ears or playing games consoles. Thanks for sharing.

Oh yes, it's a constant battle to get my eldest away from a screen of some sort. You can't beat good old fashioned fun in the sun

Oh Jelboy, you're in for a real treat. Pitch 28 is fantastic and best of all the new toilet block is finished. I can honestly say that I've never experienced such luxury on a camp site. Hands free showers with huge shower heads, and beautiful waterfall taps. Awfa bonny!

Enjoy yourself, and I'll look forward to seeing some photos on your return.

Susan

Always have enjoyed myself on that coast Mrs McT..

Hands free showers and waterfall taps...Does that mean I can have a tinnie in one hand...and a Malt in the other in the shower?

Some Malts benefit from a dash of water in...so the waterfall taps should come in very handy....

One question for you...Then I will leave you in peace (unless there is anything you think I should need or do)

Question.....Is there anywhere to freeze ice blocks for the cool box? I'm non EHU but usually take the coolbox with one or two frozen 2 ltr plastic bottles in to keep everything chilled...TIA....

Jelboy.

Yes, there's a couple of freezers in the site shop (one for food and drink, and one for ice creams). If you label them then they will allow you to freeze them in the ice cream one. We did this and were charged 20p per ice block.

Also, a wee tip for the showers. There were no hooks installed inside the shower cubicles yet. So probably a good idea to take a couple of S hooks for over the door. And a toilet bag with a hook helps too.

As for a tinnie in the showers, shame on you Jelboy!

But seriously, have a great time. Wish I was going back too!

Fantastic pics. I recognise the first photo. I'm sure you have posted one similar before. Looks stunning and you were lucky with the warm sunny weather. Kids look extremely happy too
