Some pics of our 1st trip with new Bell tent. A big thank you to all the people on here who recommended the tent, with a special thanks to Autopilot for boring him with my questions. I will do these in 3 posts as I lost the thread 1st time I tried. 1st day managed to get the tent pitched (Think we will get it better with more practice) just before the rain arrived. DW Glamped up the inside of the tent before a relaxing afternoon. Then out for an evening meal and drink. 1st full day we went to Dunster. 1st pic is for Mike G. He likes a flower??

Do you know anything about / history of the old house with the two ladies walking by? (excuse my ignorance, never been)The walls appear to be tiled/ slate...it's a cracker of a building.
Day 3 This was the best day weather wize. So headed off to Lynmouth & Linton and Valley of the rocks. I didn't bargain on them mountain goats up there with us so near the edge.

Brilliant pics, I think I have the same ones from Lynmouth, I thought it a beautiful village and will be camping nearer there next time. Although I never found any goats.

Sorry to others. But I have just got to answer this first. OK Mate here goes Cooking. We went electric with gas hobs as a back up. Lift up preety covering on cupboard reveals this:
In the cupboard is all the gear we needed to cook.
Under the tv is a 4 height adjustable table. To the left of that is a collapsible storage chest for clothes. Bedside boxes towels toiletries etc.
Electric cool box not glamped up (for safety reasons) On the other side is another small table for tea coffee and kettle. Under the table is a crate with tin food salt vinegar ketchup etc. One fan heater, an inflatable settee. Left in the car was our camping chairs if it had been nice enough to sit outside. But rest assured I will be seeking more advice on a tarp ( not that one I got from lidls) because I think that is a must have for this tent. Trust your still having a good time and sorting out your mole problem.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
