Spent three nights near York (site reviewed 4 weeks ago) Vango Kalu 400 with awning, I do like this tent for short breaks it is just the perfect fit
And at night with our new light
Found a way of keeping the new connectors off the ground
Saw some fossils
Son enjoyed finding answers to the pre historic trail
Tried to leave him in jail
It is a tiring job camping in this sun, this was before I got burnt
We did have to pack up and go home though
We also visited the Yorkshire Air Museum but I managed to leave the camera in the tent!
Every weekend until the summer holidays is booked up now so no more camping until our big trip of the year (except for our son as one of those weekends is his Cub camp)

I see you managed to sort the extension this time. Was it easy to sort or was there lots of cursing again?
Great pics. We considered going to Yorkshire this year but have changed our minds.
Ah well we had a cunning plan. The tent is easy peasy so we did that and while hubby pegged I did carpets and SIM's, then we connected the EHU and had tea and biscuits. Revived we set about the awning, we put the first pole where we thought it needed to go and pegged through the ring, then walked the second pole forward and did the same. Then hubby tweaked the peggng while I finished the inside. End result was mudflaps that lay on the floor and a groundsheet that fitted well chuffed

Lovely comparison of day time and night time. Your laddie looked like he had fun! I hope you didn't leave him in the cell too long
