I,ve tried to list Camping Le Helles to leave a review but the listing isn't up yet.
We are just back after 16 days at Camping Le Helles in Combrit Sainte Marine. We did our usual of trips every second day and fitted in walks, visits to Benodet (mainly for the Tabac), Concarneau, Quimper, Ile Tudy, Pont L'Abbe and Ile Glenan. The campsite was good, mainly French and a lot of tents which was nice and it was only 5 minutes to a long white sandy beach.
We got into Roscoff at 11am and had a leisurely drive to Benodet and then over the bridge to Sainte Marine. The town itself is small with a couple of bakers, a spar type shop and lots of cafes and resturants. No ATM and no tabac. We went to a Supe u about 10 minutes away or there is the carrefour in Benodet.
The weather was hot most days but it broke at the end of last week with rain and an overnight thunderstorm. Luckily our trips were all in excellent weather.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
