Well that time of the year has come around once again, so it’s ‘Take Off’ time for us and our trip South with a nice (Hopefully!) bit of warmer temperatures in Morocco.
So once again you are more than welcome to ‘Come and Join Us’ in the Third Seat of ‘Flamenco Red’ for this year’s Snowbird Run.
We hope you enjoy the ride!
Here is the link to get you into the Third Seat……….
I have just been made aware of a 'problem' when using Internet Explorer to access the URL link I posted as it seems some friends are getting an error message that blocks them from access.
I understand however that the following URL link will work in both IE & Mozilla Firefox.......
Meanwhile we will continue to enjoy the sunshine and 24C temperature over here while thinking about you in positive single figure and negative single figure digit temperatures over there.

Hello, this looks like a great trip, not my kind of country to visit considering them poor donkeys and stray dogs but its very nice to see the pictures of places id never see anywhere else on the internet.
How much does this king of trip cost? excluding the initial purchase of car and caravan of course.
OK, here is the answer to your question about costs for this kind of trip.
The figures for each of our trips are inclusive of everything and I mean everything!
Year Number of Days Total Cost in GBP
2013/13 105 £3120
2013/14 106 £3001
2014/15 107 £3304
2015/16 103 £2810
2016/17 114 £TBA
While we have found that as the Donkeys are still the majority of people's transport they are looked after.
Wild Dogs have since last year been culled by the authorities due to significant problems being caused.
In all our visits to the country we have always felt safe and have made many friends over here whose help and hospitality has been absolutely fantastic.
Finally.
Thank you for your good wishes, even after the accident this time we are still having a superb time!

Following your trip with great interest, went to Agadir 25 years ago,and boy has it changed, went to the fort on the hill and used a lobster restaurant by the dock,oh happy memories, also had a week in Tangiers fascinating city, spent a few nights in the Marco Polo bar, popular with truck drivers so glad you enjoyed it,sadly,I am no longer able to go abroad through health concerns,so reading adventures like yours keeps me happy
Glad to hear that our 'Adventure' is keeping your happiness going as we understand with the weather and 'other things' back home it's seems a bit like Doom & Gloom at the moment!
Interestingly we spoke to an English couple last night who are on their 8th Winter over here and said that if we haven't come into Morocco via Tangiers then we should try it, as they laughed!
Well as Tanger Med is so well organised I think we will stick with that entry port for any future trips, while we also like to travel through Agadir on our way South but have not used the Municipal Campsite in the city itself as we prefer the countryside for the scenery!
Cheers!

Hello KarlFritz, just going to click on the link to see more photos and update on your journey. I thought it would of been a little cheaper if im honest but I have no idea of cost traveling abroad etc..
I suppose it must be good ££££ for satisfaction otherwise you wouldn't of done it so many times.
I had a look at what we spent 7 years ago on a 90 day trip to Spain and that was more expensive while I would expect that over that time prices in Spain have risen while we have not seen much of an increase certainly in campsite fees here in Morocco.
But the other thing we like about this country is the safety and security compared to a number of places in Europe.
When the King of Morocco issues a direct order to the Gendarmerie that he wants Tourists 'protected' as he values immensely the income from Tourists which is the second largest generator of revenue for this country, and we have 6 Gendarmes on our campsite on New Years Eve to make sure we are OK!
You don't get that in Europe.

That's impressive and very good to know its a safe country!
In all of our 5 trips/tours over here when we have covered around 5,000 Miles each time, we have been made very welcome by every Moroccan person we have spoken to, have never been 'ripped' off, made many friends over here who we now call in and spend some time with, and enjoy wonderful hospitality from them when we do.
While a number of Moroccans have said to us that they like the English people because we remember our manners!
We have also met a number of 'Brits' who have come over for their first time and are really looking forward to returning again next for next winter.

A couple of years ago I applauded you for your marvellous Arctic trip blog, and I've read you other 'trip reports' - please keep them coming; they're (to me) fascinating and brilliant pictorial records and insights into the various places you have been, and I just wish I had the health/youth (and mostly courage) to do the same!

------------- What's the difference between a chicken?
When I did the first 'Trip Report' I had no idea of how much interest it would create and now that Arctic trip blog has gone over 30,000 hits, while the others for the different places my good lady and I have been to has also created a lot of interest, and I know that quite a bit of the interest is from people who for whatever reasons cannot go and do the same!
So when you other people give my wife and I that sort of feedback, then rest assured and so long as PhotoBucket (For the pixtures!) has got the space I will continue to put the link on here for the next trips.
Thank you again for your very kind words, it makes my wife and I very happy to know our efforts are appreciated.
P.s. I luv your 'Outfit' description! Brilliant!!!
