I returned to FF after my last trip with Borda in 2014 with Bean the young Romanian rescue, and we had a very nice trip.
The awning has been repaired and fully functional. However, it was taken down when it was too breezy for comfort.
The Isabella windbreak was indeed easier to put up using screw-in pegs and a power drill than the Blue Diamond one with wooden poles, so it was money well-spent.
Bean did not jump into the lakes, probably needed some guidance and encouragement from other doggies. He hates being bathed at home too!
I had to replace a 130W charger as he chewed a cable that could not be replaced, hey ho!
Need to get a better peg puller as the one I carry in the van is no good and I can't find the stainless steel long ones I already have from Delta Pegs, DOH!
Also need some UJ bunting too in time for the next trip over the double bank holiday weekend at an adult-only site.

He is a lucky dog who found a very good home. We got an RSPCA rescue puppy ( of many pedigrees) in 1980.
We had her 14 years. She loved caravanning which to her meant being outside and loads of walks.
Our first outing was in our newly acquired secondhand Monza van to a site near Lake Bala during a cold Easter. She discovered she loved water. She did have Labrador in her according to our vet.

We "discovered" Fforest Fields in 2020, and we and the dogs all loved it there. Our 2 don't do water either, so no chance of a lake swim!
Bean is a very handsome pup, and obviously loving life with you.

Bean went into a pond recently, encouraged by other doggies that went with Borda's walker to a secured dog field.
Hopefully he will go into water from now on.

We’re off to FF in 7 weeks time. Been about 8 years since we were last there, and the weather was fabulous, the temperature was so high. Off to the Royal Welsh Show.

My advice would be to reserve your pizzas via this link, and decide on the toppings once you have arrived to avoid disappointment:
I believe this is to allow them to plan for how many pizza bases to order/prepare for the night in question.
