My Grauniad came as usual, but no camping guide Ironic, since I get it every Saturday.
Hi Geoff, if you use the contact us button above right to send me an email with your address, the chap at the Guardian who handled the camping guide has promised to post you a copy.
How long before someone reports arriving at a site and seeing someone walking around with The Guide as they put up their new tent. Maybe it will result in a camping boom and we can all put BG before our post signatures - Before Guardian.
It's a good read and if it encourages more people into camping I'm all for it. As demand increases so will supply and standards will have to rise (I hope).

We must be experts - we are out standing in our chosen fields!
Just cos my hubby said I spend too much time on my lappy (well his actually) I havent been on until now and what do I find ,I missed out on something that might potentially have enhanced my camping experience but now I will never know!!!
Anyway I have ordered a copy of Peter Frost's camping manual from my local library and I am going to be the first in my area to get my hands on it!! So there,am I bovvered though???
My North Lees review was edited and added to, with my willful co-operation (David Mellor's Cutlery factory? Could be a lie for all I know), so it missed out that we went mid week in June. Therefore no mozzies, and no 120 sweaty rock climbers hogging the showers. Just us and another tent.
The other tent were using up a years supply of viagra from the sound of it, but I didn't include that in the review. It wasn't a selling point.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
