Any chance we could have a preview facility where you hover over a topic and you get a few lines of text to show the general thread of the post......

I reckon that a lot of viewers would perhaps contribute to more posts, if they had a better idea of the subject.........some titles are far from clear

Yes , as advise, this facility is used already when you use the latest posts since your last visit view

I appreciate that the "Latest post" has the option....but sometimes I like to trawl through older posts to see if there is anything I might be able to help with......

And how long is a "latest post" valid for......a hour ???....

One of the car forums I am on can give a preview going back as far as 7 years........not saying I would look that far back, as it is on page 317....but it can be done.

Some topics dated today....06/09/2009....are not previewable

Hi  button top right. You can go back two weeks, or as far as you want by changing the date eg here . It's not currently available on if you are just browsing the forums though at the moment
