...via an android tablet

Didn't get any thoughts to my post in Uploading Pics, so re-posting it as a separate topic. Hope this is OK.

Issue:

I can link pics in UKCS posts from my Photobucket account and laptop all day long, but I'm thinking for France I could just take the tablet (Nexus 7, android) and do a daily or so blog from the campsite's wi-fi.

I'm really struggling with it though. Same with my android Nexus 4 phone. On both I have the Photobucket mobile app. I can upload pics to it fine from either device.

The app then says to tap the link to copy it but when I come here to paste it all I get is the little image placeholder icon. This is whether I use PB's IMG link right in the box here, or their Direct code, and the image button here.

Any ideas why? I could always take the lappy I suppose but it would be save space if I could do it from my N7.

Belinda, you can only upload direct to UKCS to your profile pics or in the tent reviews.

To put a pic in to an post, as I did above, you need a photo hosting site like Photobucket, and paste a link to it. I've now got its mobile version (app) on both my tablet and phone.

Using my Nexus tablet, I uploaded the pic to my Photobucket account, tapped its Direct Link code box, then came here and pasted the code in to the Insert Image box

above.

Didn't work at first, then sorted itself out
