When planning a trip I find it really helpful to be able to search for camp sites using a map. The facility is provided for sites in the UK and in France on this website, but no other countries. For example when looking for a site in Italy, all you are given is a list of sites, they are not even grouped into regions. If you could look at a map and see where these sites are it would be a really useful addition to this website.
I have suggested this, it would be a good idea. However, it is based on postcode so more often than not, very inaccurate, which is nobody's fault as far as I know.
Hi Guys, just wanted to confirm that the map searches are available for France and the Netherlands, and they are actually pinpointed now, rather than just based on a vague postcode! (There may be a few French ones which still need updating, but these will be complete very shortly)
Thanks for that, Ian. I found the map search of the Netherlands invaluable earlier this year when planning a 6 week trip. We all know roughly where the big towns are but the addresses are often more obscure than that.
