That's probably because a thousand different sites would cost a thousand different total prices for a thousand different families... and take a thousand different routes to arrive at that total price.
It's nigh on impossible for the bods at UKCS to keep tabs on sites' pricing structures... and would probably get their ar5es kicked if they dared to miss a price increase and not be up to date!
Find a site you like the look/sound of, then check their prices on their own website. Sometimes, we do have to do a little research ourselves.
I search for sites here, read a few reviews, and if I like what I have read I then go to their website (if they have one) and check out the tariff. For me, that often knocks it on the head there and then
However, if the tariff is good I then come back here to read more reviews and take a look at Google maps and street views to make sure the area and the site looks good.
It would be good if people doing reviews put a bit more about the campsite itself, the tariff, the general area in relation to nearest pubs, shops and public transport rather than whether they had sausages or cereal for breakfast or the family on the next pitch were noisy
Pricing structure varies from one site to another, with many different permutations, e.g. season, type of unit, per person pricing, or per pitch/family, etc. etc...
When looking for a camp site, I start with a location, then look for camp sites that suit my requirements, then look at the reviews, and if one ticks enough boxes, then I shall go and look up the site and prices etc...
Price per pitch is not the highest priority for me, as I do not mind paying a bit extra for a good clean site with good security features.
Being a member of C&CC certainly helps, as I already know roughly how much it would cost for my usual set up at their club sites, just need to account for seasonal variations.
