Don’t know about anyone else but I do not like this new forum layout, the smallest amount of posts in each category is six months, on the old layout I could see posts from as little as 1 hour ago, does anyone know how to revert back to the old format.

Nothing has changed, I assume you are looking at the main list of topics in each section. The "Latest Posts" page is still there, with them same options for time, from 1 hour to two weeks
Not sure I can see any real functional difference (on a desktop/laptop - don't generally access it on a phone), just the addition of pretty pictures, (grumpy old man hat on! ) for which I can see little point, other than 'pictures' everywhere and dominant is the latest web site design trend!
Credit to the webmaster, and my thanks too. My forum signature had been scrambled to meaningless nonsense when the website was refreshed, and it had factual information that I can't look up any more (as I don't keep my appointment diaries for ever).
I got in contact, and I now see it's been sorted. Thanks again!

Not particularly fond.
Things that rankle;
The two or three lines of text that follow the title of eavery message in the Message Forums. Oddly enough, the same happened in Sheffield Forum, a fairly busy forum for my former (40 plus years) hometown.
The big block graphics for each message forum - again something else SF did
Both the above mean more scrolling on a phone which is something I can do without.
I think most of us - certainly on the Camping Abroad forum - come here for information rather than pretty pictures.
If you click on 'latest posts' and choose a time frame, you can quickly check if your preferred section has any activity. I choose 6 hours, as I check morning and night. So little scrolling.

I just liked to click on "Camping and Caravanning Abroad" and see if there was anything new - which involved no scrolling / checking.
I am using a desktop and I am finding the new layout very difficult to view. I hope that it's not because I am an old fogey and resistant to change! It seems OK on my Android phone though, although it now shows the beginning of the message (last one? First one? I haven't checked)
