Hi a while ago we had a sticky about Sky TV, for some reason it was unstuck and we now see countless topics on Sky in the forum with the same questions asked and answered again and again, surely it would make sense to have a stick on this topic and lock future posts referring them to the sticky..........it seems only a matter of days since I and others answered about the £20 card, yet today there is yet another topic on this.

Briarose, I reckon that is an excellent idea. Maybe we should have a forum dedicated to Frequently Asked Questions where topics that are frequently raised are filed and will prevent duplication?
I agree, the list at the top of each section is getting longer with relevant sections, an FAQ secion is an exxelent idea, although there are some questions that seem to come up frequently even though the answers are in the features/tips bit
I think the problem is that some members just don't think to look for topics, which is understandable I guess, I am a Moderator on another forum and it has the facility for topics to be merged, things have been much better since then.
I think frequently asked forum would be a good idea, and probably would get more interest than an equipment one.

I'm in agreement with you, Briarose. There are similar issues with EHU's and Delta Pegs. Rarely a day goes by, without another thread stating the same things.
The thing a lot of other forums do, is to insist on use of the search facility. Mods will close a thread after telling the poster to use the search button.
