why does it need a new section creating?

suerly they should just go in general chat(even if it is a tow car) not have a new section

We might as well do away with all the sections, and just have one big one, as people can't seem to put subjects in right areas anyway, and if they do they seem to go off on a tangent and end up talking about something else!

I agree a car is part of the unit and can have problems just like caravans and tents!!!

I would like to support the idea of having a separate forum for car questions. There are almost as many questions on cars as most of the sections except Tents. A major advantage with a separate section is that it builds up a useful database of information which is easy to access.

Hey if we're going down that road, how about forums for:

Scooters, cycles, walking, backpacking, and so on

The list could be endless.

I don't think it's as daft as it sounds as many of us enjoy outdoor activities whilst camping ie walking, cycling, canoeing etc........or maybe we should group them under an 'Outdoor Activities' section with sub sections for each........now I'm confused

The difference is that the subjects you mention are only discussed now and then. Cars as a topic came up on a daily basis. Now don't get me wrong I would be happy to support any suggestion for addition sections providing that it can be supported by a need. The number of posts we get about cars in my view does support a separate section.

I agree, car section, as like somebody has said, its part of the unit and we do have problems and advice for this issue.
