Hi there. We have just had 3 weeks in south of france and of course got very hot in our caravan. We don't really have the budget for roof mounted proper aircon, but we did buy a total cool evaporative cooler and had a fan, but this really wasn't up to anything. So my questions are: do the window split units you see work and cool the van ok? And di they last.long? I know someone who had 1 some years ago and it only lasted 2 years, so wondering if they've got better since early 2000s? Comments please
