Advice on purchasing fitted bedding, we are soon to take delivery go a new caravan with an island Bed (Unicorn Vigo V) and need to sort out bedding.
One option is to order bespoke fitted bedding and have seen Jonic and Tuck me under who both can identify our specific model of caravan and claim to provide fitted sheets and mattress protectors bespoke to our van make and model. Has anyone used these companies or can recommend alternatives, have seen a number of suppliers but their sizes do not match the bed.
We tend not to buy specialist bedding as it is prohibitivly expensive compared to 'normal' bedding, other than the bottom fitted sheet to cope with the corner cut-out.

This is the company we have used for all our caravans, and always found them to be very good.

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
We will be using standard duvet and cover, it is a mattress protector and fitted sheet that we would require we will probably end up making our own fitted sheets in future when we have the van at home and can fit to the actual mattress.
We intend to get away as soon as we pick the van and it would be useful to have the protector and a sheet ready to go, we can use an ordinary sheet and wrap it around the mattress. However if anyone has experience of companies that claim to make bespoke to the model of the van it would be interesting to see what they offer.
We have a 2007 Unicorn Vigo. We got a mattress protector from either Primark or M & S, it is a square one which lays on top of the bed but has loops on the corners which hold it in position. For the sheet, M & S do fitted sheets, different sizes and also different depth to go under side of mattress. Ours fit really tightly even though the corners of the caravan mattress are cut away. We have 2 fitted sheets and I think one of those is from Primark, both of them are fine and a lot cheaper than Jonik.
I used a normal fitted sheet with "bed sheet clips" which you can get from Amazon. Reasonably priced and can be used again when you replace or launder your sheet.
We have an island bed. We use a normal double duvet and flat sheet. I couldn't believe the price for a fitted sheet to specifically fit our bed. I'm having the same problem with a new topper. I've been quoted over £200!

Various weekends, weather and time permitting
April - Yorkshire and Yorkshire
June - Wiltshire and Oxfordshire
Autumn - North and Scotland
We have twin beds in the current van which my wife bought fitted sheets for. Our previous van had a shaped double. We bought 2 single duvets then she cut the two double duvet covers down to make 4 single ones
Our last van was a Vigo. We used a normal double fitted sheet and tucked it under. It was OK.

Asda do a great fitted sheet which is elasticated all the way round, not just at the corners, and gives a really good fit on our island bed.
Same with Sandwrson 300 thread count fitted sheets (from Costco, but suspect they're available at other places). They have good quality elastic all round so would work well on a shaped mattress.
My van has an odd size double mattress, and I bought a couple of cheapo fitted flannel sheets from Lidl and use corner straps to hold it in place.

Bespoke sheets are more costly than standard fitted sheets, however I recently bought a few caravan specific fitted sheets and matress topper, for very reasonable pricing at Greens of Bournmouth. They seem to provide a full range for all orientations of fixed bed and varied qualities too, I suggest they're worth a look, our topper which is excellent was roughly £42
