Hi, yesterday we bought a new Bailey Pegasus Grande SE Brindisi.
Caravanning is completely new to us as we’ve progressed from tents, folding caravan, to VW and drive away awning, to air tent, and now we’ve bought a caravan! Typical transition lol!
Anyway, we did our research, found some favourites, and looked at the final two in the flesh yesterday.
I looked in every cupboard, all the external storage, asked a million questions of the poor salesman etc before paying for it all and driving home massively excited! Now we’ve decided we want to get a Cadac BBQ (we’ve always previously cooked on charcoal) and it’s the one thing I stupidly didn’t ask about! We’ve bought two calor propane bottles.
All the adverts I can find for the Cadac Safari Chef 30 Low Pressure Gas BBQ says it can be used with refillable gas bottle or non refillable canisters. All the pictures seem to show that non refillable one and a bottle of patio gas.
So…my questions…can we use calor propane to power the Cadac, and what do I have to buy to connect it straight the bbq point on the front of the caravan please, and one last one, sorry…if it wasn’t convenient for whatever reason to plug it into the caravan because of pitch or position, do I have to but another connector to use a non refillable canister?
Thanks everyone!
