I've decided to give up the inflatable bed this year and go for a SIM. Ideally, I'd really like to pair it with the Quecha Inflatable Bed Base - is there something similar to this that's not quite as expensive? Or can anyone recommend an alternative set-up please? Thank you
We bought 2 decathlon bed bases at the end of last year. Not had chance to use them yet but from what we have heard and read paired with the 10cm outwell Sims they will be super comfy so fingers crossed!!
We have tried every option for sleeping on and so far the comfiest has been the outwell pasads camp beds with the Sims on top. Just very bulky when packed up. Saying that the new set up is even more bulky I think. Time will tell on how we get on. We have kept all the other arrangements so we have the option of going back to what we find/found the comfiest!
Thanks - I don't think I can stretch to buying the inflatable and a SIM but the Pasadas looks good. Currently have a Huddle air bed but don't find it comfortable even on the comfort setting and it takes up so much room. I'm hoping a SIM will be better for me.
We also have used a high rise Vango air bed with built in pump and adjustable comfort settings. I found this comfy the Mrs didn't, hence why we have changed again. Like I said it has taken us many years and many attempts to get. A decent comfy bed. Fingers crossed the new set up work sfor.us both.
Go to a camping shop and try out different beds and see what you find comfy. You will find something the suites your needs.
Hiya, is it because of the price? Amazon do Klarna and im sure ive seen the bed bases in the catalogue. If this may be an option.
We have the bases together, air bed, mattress topper then make up like a normal bed. Teddy fleece for warmth. We are 12 and 20 stone!
We use an Outwell Posadas double camp-bed with a 5cm SIM on the top. It's really comfortable, but the bed is quite heavy to pack - Ive told my other half it's non-negotiable though 😂
Thank you - I have given it a lot of thought and think I'll go for a camp bed/cot and get a decent 10cm SIM. Saw reviews of the inflatable Quecha base and thought it would be ideal and perfect for me but I think a cot will be just as good!
