I have what is I think a Dometic AC539 (although it doesn't have any electrics) cold water only folding tap.







It's started leaking - probably split due to freezing over the winter, so I need to replace it.

Is it possible to remove the hose from the tap and connect the new tap to the existing, or do I have to disconnect at the other end?

From other images I've looked at, it appears that the hose you have pictured does not come off the white plastic fitting.
It looks like it comes like that when new.

The photograph shows the hose crimped onto the tap, so not removable.

It should be a clue if you see what pipe if any the new one comes with. It looks to me that the pipe would need to be removed from the other end because it is crimped onto the tap.

The crimp fastener would need to be cut off and replaced with a jubilee clip or similar.

Thanks all - that's what I suspected. Wasn't sure if the fitting into the tap comes off in some special way.

Time to start dismantling stuff to get to the other end.
