Any recommendations for more affordable fridge-freezers 45-55L with split lid other than Dometic CFX (comes up best in searches but expensive), so many to choose from.

I have had 2 Dometics and both lasted approx 10 years before giving up but at current prices looked for cheaper .But this time just bought a cheap Dellonda 60l one from Amazon and purchased extra warranty for 5 years £35 for accidental damage and extended warranty , total cost was about £330 . The Dellonda is not quite as well insulated so runs slightly more often and has no physical catch on the lid but so far shows no sign of not staying closed . Others to look at would be Igloo or Mestic as both look to be the mid range option .
