Hi Folks

bought a Wynnster Rechargeable lantern (knocked down for slight imperfection - clasps not working correctly) but it didn;t come with instructions - does anyone have a copy they can post up (i.e. scanned in or downloaded off the net)

Cheers

Hi

Thanks for the 'bump'.  I have had an email back from Wynnstern in relation to this - it turns out that the batch my supplier had were faulty

Anyway, the chap at wynnstern emailed me the instruction leaflet (if anyone is interested):-

RECHARGEABLE LANTERN

Connect either the mains or the in car charger to the lantern by inserting the small jack plug into the corresponding socket that will be found on the side of the lantern. (NB. When using the in car charger it is advisable to keep the engine running, ideally charging the lantern during a journey).

The recharge and lighting times for the following Wynnster rechargeable lanterns are between 6-8 hours. When charging the RED indicator light will illuminate and the charging process will be complete when the RED light goes out and the GREEN indicator becomes illuminated.

During the charging process the lantern will still work, but it is not recommended.

When not in operation the batteries will gradually discharge with time, this is quite normal so ensure that they are fully charged before use.

(Due to continuous research and development the specifications herein are subject to change without notice.)

I've just thrown away one of these, had it less than 12 months. It just stopped working, would not recharge so I had it checked out and was told it was the circuit board that was u/s.
