Our Kampa Air Sun Canopy is ideal for us but the winds in Southern France/ Northern Spain are too much for it. Need a medium size 3/4m poled awning for our Caravan that will withstand the gusts.
I like the 390 Rally and Rally Pro, the Rally is a lot cheaper but would it cope with the wind?
It is windy all week here at L’Estartit and all motorhomes have put away their wind out awnings too risky even with Storm Straps

We have always had the rally pro's as we didn't like the fabric of the rally too nylon feeling for us,I am pretty sure the rally would do the job but it's a bit flappy in the wind, the pro's we have had stood up to quite a few gales, so we wouldn't dream of going with the rally. It would be a good idea to get the monsoon poles as they stop the puddling on the roof.

Tango, the kampa rally pro roof line is the same as it has always been, it is the air version that has the different shaped roof and as the op wants the poled version I stand by what I said and I don't think the air awning packing pads would be of any use to him, also the rally poled awnings have adjustable legs to allow for uneven ground.

We have a rally pro 260, its fairly old and has faded a bit. No leaks or pooling and it has been well used in all weather.
I think they are a well designed and manufactured product.

We are in the same boat as 664Dave in as much as we have an old Rally Pro 390 which is a bit faded but still functions very well and we've never had any issues with it.

Looked at a new Rally last year and you couldn't compare the two, ours was far superior, so I think I'll stick with the Rally Pro thanks.
