Hello. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a decent 2 burner cooker for camping? I’ve got a Campinggaz Chef but on the lowest flame setting it still burned food, it was too hot. So I’m looking for alternatives for my summer camping trip this year. Recommendations welcome.
Without a doubt, the Coleman 424 Dual Fuel 2-burner cooker.
I sold mine when I switched unit in 2021, regretted it since, and bought a replacement plus a spare charger last year, even though I have a 2-burner induction hob in my van!
I camped all year round when I was a tenter, learnt my lesson the hard way that butane gas does not burn well at sub-zero temperatures.
The only issue with the Coleman 424 is the need to use smaller pans about 20cm in diameter in order to fit 2 on side by side.

We invested in a cadac 2-cook-2 a couple of years ago and it is amazing. We previously had a campingaz 2 ring burner that burnt everything. The cadac is so much better.

I'd endorse that! Great bit of kit and very versatile.

I certainly recommend the Coleman Dual Fuel Range of Stoves, I have both the 424 (2 Burner) and 426 (3 Burner) variants.
DK mentions needing Smaller Pans, then Try getting a Coleman 413/4, which is a slightly Wider 2 burner stove, Probably need a Second hand one.
I have never seen other sizes available in the UK except for the 424, however, I had seen them in repair videos.
For reference, the photo I posted, the non-stick squarish griddle pan on the right with a folding handle is 24cm in width, and the round pan on the left with a screw-on handle was 20cm in diameter.
