As we are always on EHU we just bought a cheap plug in one from Amazon. I think the brand is Duronic. It works perfectly fine for the caravan. If you want a cordless one, I would stick to Dyson. We have a cordless Dyson at home and find it has the best suction of any other cordless ones we have tried over the years.
Sorry, but couldn't justify the cost of a Dyson if only using it in the caravan.

How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
It is packed small enough to stay in the van, and USB rechargeable.
For the floor mats and carpets, I use my hand-held Shark that I use in the house as it has a special attachment that is lacking in the cheapo vacuum cleaner.

We have a little hand-held Dyson which we purchased in 2006 (when we got a new van - I don`t normally remember when I buy small electronic items!). It lasted about 15 years before it `died`, but it turned out it was only the battery that had failed internally. The Dyson battery replacement was so expensive it didn`t make sense to buy one so I got a Chinese battery off Amazon with double the capacity for less than 20 quid which lasts much longer and has been great for the last 5 years and is still going strong.
Worth a look if it`s only a battery fault.
We have a similar one to the one SGThomas has shown, can be handheld, we tend to use it with the handle as don’t want to be bending more than I have to
