Hi, I bought a Camping Gaz Party Grill 600 Compact (without the lid) and now would like to cook using a lid. I spoke to a dealer who told me that I couldn't use a lid from the full size 600, but that doesn't seem right to me? Has anybody found themselves in the same position and simply added a lid? Surely the 600 Compact is the same??

According to their website they are the same diameter so I can't see why not. You could always ask them directly https://www.campingaz.com/uk/t-contactform.aspx

I took your advice and asked them directly and they say it won't fit. I'm still not quite convinced, because as you say, they're the same diameter. If anybody is in the North Wales area who's got a lid they'd be willing to let me have a trial fit I'd be very grateful!
