Hello
We have an Avtex 24" which is not large enough screen size. Looking for a 27" smart TV with satellite connectivity, does not need to be 12v but that would be a bonus, there seems to be limited choices in that size. At a push, could go to 32" and the Cello looks interesting. Have you any experience with Cello (current product) picture quality and ease of set up, moving from location to location? Hope to hear from you.
If you don't need 12v is it worth just looking at somewhere like Richer Sounds? It seems to me that putting the word 'caravan' into a product description bumps the price up a fair bit.
Thanks Sean, I've looked at many makes but struggle to find one that's smart and includes in built satellite connectivity. If push comes to squeeze I suppose I could get a smart TV then a separate black box for the satellite.

Not sure why you specifically need a satellite connection. We have a 28" LG Smart TV in our caravan and use a Sky+HD box. Cost of Tv was £180 from Richer Sounds plus a 6 year warranty.
The signal for the TV comes from the satellite dish and goes to the Sky+HD Box and then to the TV via the HDMI lead. We split the HDMI signal so that we have a HDMI feed to the bedroom TV.
If you have Sky Q at home, purchase a Sky+HD box off eBay and use the card in the HD box as it does work.
We have a 32" Cello battery TV with built-in satellite decoder - its not smart though. The picture and sound quality are fine: not amazing, but no better or worse than the smaller TV we had in our previous MH. I'm fairly easy to please though and don't expect cinema-standard
We didn't buy this TV (it came with the MH) so I haven't really researched what's out there, but if I was replacing it then I'd happily buy another Cello, though I'd look at other brands too. By the way, I think Ferguson are the same company.

Many thanks Vampgirl for your input. When you change geographical regions, is the Cello ok at finding TV stations, faff free.
Sorry I don't know - we don't have a TV aerial. The satellite programme guide seems to populate well enough - though there doesn't seem to be any logic to the channel list that I can find so I sometimes struggle to find what I'm looking for (don't know if this is common for non-subscription satellite systems? My only other experience of satellite is Sky). To be honest we'll probably end up removing the satellite because we hardly use it. We mostly use the TV for watching films and playing on the Xbox and its fine for that.
A friend of mine has a cello with built in Satellite Receiver. It is a FTA receiver so programs in no logical order. Avtec have a proper FreeSat system installed. The picture quality is very poor in my opinion. I had also ordered one through Amazon but sound and picture so poor it went straight back.

Why would you need to do that if you are using a satellite connection?
