Hello
I have an old Campinggaz C400 heater, but I don't know what size type gas cartridge it takes? Seems like it should measure approx 160mm in length
Can anyone help me?

You’re right, it is old! You wouldn’t get many days of heat out of that wee canister - usually used for cooking, albeit that’s just my experience.
Welcome to UKCS, btw, and you’ve probably triggered a load of reminiscences about those gas cartridges, and heating in the days before EHU.
Years ago I had a campingaz lantern that took those cartridges. You could either use the large cartridge or use two C206 cartridges (one on top of the other).
Unscrew the valve section and check the condition of the seal before inserting the cartridges and screwing the valve back into place.
You could go on Ebay and buy a 2nd hand Campingaz S200 stove, the top half of your heater will screw into the bottom half of the stove, you can then use C206 Campingaz cartridges.
Remember you can only swop between stove and heater when you have emptied the current cartridge.
The Lumogaz C200s bases are also interchangeable and people are more likely to break lights than stoves and sell off the base.
