Lidl had Silent Night ones for sale last year for under 30 GBP for a single 120cm x 160cm, and I bought one for my clarinet teacher who spent time in his van during winter.

He reported it was very good.

At home, we had a series of doubles where one side could be off or tepid (for OH) & the other side could be toasty hot & stay on all night (for me). All John Lewis. They became more difficult to find, and I now use a hot water bottle & very high tog duvet (tog 15) in winter.
After 3 years being happy in her crate in the bedroom, the rescue dog won’t settle now after a week away sleeping up on the MH bed. So she now sleeps very quietly at the foot of the bed & stays warm all night (unlike the hot water bottle).
The MH bed is over the hot water tank at our feet end, which helps keep us warm (bed socks nearby in case) plus we leave the blown air heating on at 13deg.

We have had a Silentnight one for a few years now. Bought it from B&M - £20 cheaper than the identical one from M&S at the time. I noticed that our local Lidl had them (as above comment dk) last Friday. Just about to get ours out!

I can’t remember what brand ours is but whatever you choose, get one where each side can be controlled separately. I have been experiencing night sweats over the past few months while my husband has been freezing. He can turn on his side of the electric blanket and I can leave mine off! We used to be the other way round!

Yes, go for the individual controlled sides but be aware that they often need two separate mains plugs which could be a problem in a caravan.
Personally we leave the Alde heating on all the time with it programmed to reduce the temperature overnight.

When we have been away in the van in cold weather we have just put the heating but on a lower setting which kept us snug. With electric blankets there are two types, the first you use to warm the bed but it should be turned off once in bed and those, usually more expensive, that have a transformer that can be left on all night.
