Hello all,

I am trying to find out how to light the centre grill (toaster) on the 2 burner Campingaz Folding Chef stove.

The manual doesn't say how to light it, it only says is that there is no spark igniter for it.

Is it just simply turn on the gas and light it with a long lighter?

Hand held piezo igniter, or a taper, or one of those long gas lighters. Any of those should work.

Never used it after smoking the tent out. Every food bit from the top burners falls onto that area (which is impossible to clean) and lighting the grill cooks more than the toast. If it’s only toast, you can get a rack that props up around the top burners & does toast just as well.

Er, Why? To cook a meal. It was in the porch. What’s wrong with that? Anyway, I’m in a MH now.

They do have options for buying double burner stoves without grills. The grills seal the deal for inexperienced campers but aren't really practical. The double burner stove without a grill is far more practical and packs much more easily in the car.
I've never bothered with one of those pyramid top of stove toaster things, feel free to tell me they're good. Do you like fried bread ?
