Hi All

My Water tap at my sink, not pumping water up.

In my Hiace Campervan (professional conversion), I have a simple set up, microswitch tap with sink and whale pump in a 20L container under the sink.

A few weeks ago on a trip my sink tap stopped working, turned it on went to work, then went dead. I assumed it was the microswitch on the tap, I replaced the tap (like for like), but still not working.

I taken the pump out of the water container and when holding it in onec hand, turning on the tap, I can feel a click in the pump, but nothing occurs.

I assume this is time for a new pump right?

Thanks

If all the pump does is click, and the battery voltage is ok, yes it does sound like it's time for a new pump. However, make sure the battery voltage is ok first, and use a multimeter not any meters you may have in the van's electrics. They can be notoriously inaccurate.

Best Regards,
Colin

Have you tried moving the impeller on the pump as they sometimes stick, or try the pump direct to the battery.

Ok thanks, for this.

It is pretty seized and fairly rusty now looking at it.
I decided to order a new one.
