Hi - I've got a leaky double 10cm SIM. I managed a repair a few years ago but it was easy to spot the slight tear then. This time I can't find the leak easily. Any successful advice gratefully received. I don't want to bin it but neither do I want to have to re-inflate during the night!
We are having a heatwave so the traditional advice from the Sun newspaper would be to take a bath with a friend.
Allow your Sim to inflate then plunge it beneath the bathwater and see where the bubbles come from.
If you don't have a bath take it to a clean pond or lake.
Yup, bath time, or a big trough of water will do too.
Inflate the SIM first, submerge and look for the bubbles.

Another vote for a hand spray with water & washing up liquid, or a bowl of soapy water & a sponge. Out on the lawn.
I’m just getting the giggles thinking about 2 people wrestling a semi-inflated SIM into the bath in our tiny bathroom. They do get a life of their own sometimes.
On 2nd thoughts the sight of you struggling to push your SIM underwater then looking for air bubbles at the edge of a lake might cause someone to call the police, try not to look suspicious.
Okay so I managed to get it in the bath and have discovered it is the seam all the way around! Does anyone think I can glue the seam all the way around?
