Hello, after my own searching, I came up with two options to choose between. Could you kindly give me advice of choosing right one between them?
I am going to use the Aerobed for my occasional guest (including my mother in her 50's). If you recommend another item rather than them, I am happy to hear it too.
I had the double, active, with two separate zones and was so pleased with it, first six months it was fine then one side started going down and we can't find the leak. So comfy and I really wish it had lasted but I daren't buy another one as £60 is a lot of money for something that didn't last
We have the Aerobed Platinum raised and can't fault it. We have used it for 3 years in our tent without problem. We chose it because of its height and our age, and my knees! We actually sleep better on it than our bed at home now.
Will never waste my money on an aerobed again, It's like someone had a really good idea but when it was put into production they skimped on the quality of the mattress. The only good thing about the areo's is their rechargeable air pump, they go forever pumping up you bed. Which is a good thing as they go down every night so need re inflating. Bestway do a good cheep air bed, we liked their cheep one so much we were thinking of getting one of their Quest Royal Round one's with the backrest.
Sorry areo but IMO your airbeds are not fit for poupose
Lots of bad stories on here about aero beds, but we still got one as we got a good deal so we bought the dual one and it is the best we have slept on, but like tentfluff says the pump needs to be good as one of our sides does go down slightly over night, I wouldn't mind as I like them softer buts it's on OH's side and he likes them to be really firm.

Our first bed didn't last a month as a put up bed at home, we bought it from am online company and they changed it straight away. When that one started playing up 7 or 8 months later, while away camping. We were glad the pump was so good as we had to add more air every night. We had to go direct to the people who supplied the place we bought it from as it was more than 28 days old ,I think. That was like going to the dentist, so when that one started leaking I binned it, I had the impression from the suppliers that they were such a pain they were fed up sorting them out.
I over tightened the air valve and broke it on the Bestway, I was expecting to pay for a new one as it was totally my fault, after sending them an email saying what I had done they sent me a new one free within a few days as well.
duffs54 I truly hope you have better luck with your aero as they are a lot of money to be laying out, we bought our aero back in 2010 maybe they have improved them.
But I would take a spare just in case, just to keep the OH happy
We have had our Aerobed Platinum for 2 seasons now and are very pleased with it, yes we do have to top it up with air slightly everyday, but I'm not midget, so it doesn't surprise me!!!
We have/had an active duo double, very comfortable when it stays up. I exchanged mine first with aerobed no problem after a mystery leak. Second one went down on the 2nd day of a 2 week camp, split on seam in the middle of the bed.
So fed up with been on the ground and the other half in lots of comfort I ended up getting a double outwell camp bed for similar money.
