Glad I could reassure you.

I wouldn't worry too much about slipping on slopes unless you pitch really badly.

Rolling them up is suprisingly easy too. I just roll from it and squash it as I go and kneel on it every so often. I always get it into its bag with tons of room to spare. On the last roll really squash it by kneeling on it and shut the valve, then if it triesto escape while you put it into it's bag it will actually hold it's shape.

Remember to store them unrolled at home though. Keeping them rolled up long term decreases the life of the mat as the foam remembers being squashed.

believe it or not, people were queueing for our 'flat' pitch here.

i camp because i want to be somewhere in particular and as that is mostly dorset slopes are mostly unavoidable.

I tend to toss and turn a lot as my dodgy hip gets worse; so much as i enjoyed a couple of nights of snuggling up on the inflatable, at a festival,  in the pop up quechua, i think i need to get something more practical.

twin airics in my tent you can stand up in are the way to go, i think.

wandering a bit off topic.. i think my memory foam mattress, at home, which i only bought last year is remembering being squashed ......
