we bought some rock pegs that glow in the dark a couple of weeks ago.  not yet tried given them a proper testing, but after having one sat on the dashboard of the car all day, it looked quite eerie after the sun went down.

but as the thread is about guy ropes, we have bought some Outwell bright yellow guys to replace those 'muddy' coloured ones that came provided with our Tesco windbreaks should make them easier to see in the daylight.

I prefer white guys to orange ones. Definitely can see white better in the dark. We usually take a garden solar lamp and place it near the guy which is the biggest tripping hazard.

Tie-dyed guy ropes might be nice. Although all three of my kids suffer from rope blindness and spend most of their time on the ground looking like string puppets.

Oh, nice idea! I wonder....I`ve got lots of dyes for wool and fabrics. I wonder if I have something that would take on synthetic guylines?
