Never had a problem with the Garmin i3 (got nicked) or my TomTom One. Apparently the MkII TomTom One is not as good.

We have got the sony nav-u and it has a gel type suction pad that litteraly sticks to anything and stays there, at the moment it's stuck to the dash in the car and that's an uneven surface

Our Tom Tom One sticks great, hard pressed to prise it off with a crowbar.....until I turn the window blower on, then it falls off, rolling around on the dashboard.

We've a super sucking sucker too! Except when it's really cold/frosty & then we have to wait until the window warms up a bit - don't ask me why!!------------- Claire x
