ooo we bought a khazi :) only had a dry run sit on it so far :) as portable loos go its very comfy :) i wouldn't mind trying cat litter...but isn't it another thing to lug around..i was thinking more on the lines of zoflora :)

we have the camping khazi and it was the best thing we bought for the kids, its very stable and we put a little bit of disenfectant in every morning after emptying it , the wife even uses it in the early hours so she doesnt have to walk over in the dark on her own , ours cost £19.99 from cross camping and leisure.

I purchased a bi pot 40 from e-bay, I paid about £38 for it, We've just returned from camping , after using it, and I wouldn't be without it now.
For a family though, I would get the next size up, as it was fine for me and my husband, and easy to use.
