I've never figured out why so many pyromaniacs take up camping, I'd go off on one if someone started smogging me out with woodsmoke & showering my tent with pine sparks.
Suns, we bought the same one in your link to Anne, its fantastic, after looking on the iwantoneofthose website I really didn't think it would fold down so flat but it does and its great. It has a large cooking area and comes in a bag to pack away.

We are off to a site that allows campfires.i do not intend to start a fire by my own tent or anyone elses.I have also asked the site about rules and what i cannot burn!!

Probably because we like to set things on fire, cook raw meat, bring the cave men inside us to the surface etc. etc...
I promise to try and be as considerate as I can when I use my BBQ

PeteG24 - You really did get a bargain at £40 for your son of Hibachi - great price for it, they are usually about 60 squid! I love mine!
John, SOH not lightweight but not bulky either. Each side is about the size of a small disposable bbq, we often only use the one side if not cooking a lot and put the other side upright to protect from wind. It is made from case iron and probably weighs about 12-15lbs and is about 1foot x 6 " x 6" folded and doesn't take up a lot of space, even in the pouch. It is a good solid bbq so should last for years. It is good being able to put it away in the bag almost immediately if you want - handy if you are using for a day bbq by the beach for example.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
