I find Ikea has loads of things that are useful for camping (cutlery, plastic boxes, bags etc) and most of them don't cost much. I never go in without coming out with something.
I like to keep all my camping gear separate from kitchen stuff then don't have to go hunting for anything, can just pack the car and go, also you don't forget anything that way.
aha, Ikea, it doesn't take much for me to want to take a trip in that direction :) and yes, I'm beginning to realise that, cooker & kitchen stand aside, there might not be too much that I have to buy...
btw thanks for posting the photos, oldham... that's exactly what I have in mind - just the tent for short trips, and take the annexe if we're staying more than a few days.
Really looking forward to using the new tent now :)
Hiya, try Asda & the like for their picnic bag set, I got one from Morrisons last year for around £7 which gave me coolbag & 4 plates, beakers, & cutlery, also as someone else mentioned, poundland do fishing/camping stuff, got the metal individual cutlery set from there! Got a set of pots & pans from Ikea £5 and fleece blankets from primark also good for Duvets if you decide not to use sleeping bags!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
