we have dedicated everything for the van now, but when we started out we used to use stuff from home, or old stuff.

we go on long trips, and are too old for "roughing it" these days!

We bought a two tier steamer set as well - you can do the spuds and lots of veg all on one ring - healthy too!

I have a three tier steamer plus a large stock pan as there is six of us.

I have a cobb to do all other cooking.

However I have just bought a plate that sits on a suitcase gas burner so you can use it like a BBQ. Not sure if it works well or not.

be careful with that, it can spread the flame too close to the gas cartridge and.......BOOM !

I bought a cheap value set of 3 with lids and frying pan for £7.99 2 years ago and they are brilliant.  A bit on the small side but easy to wash up too.

no, not personally, but there was something about that having happened to other people. can't remember if it was on here, on another website, or in the cc magazine.

I also remember looking at one of those gas burners a couple of years ago and there was a warning on it about using over-size pans and griddles on it.

as long as you do not let the griddle go over the side where the cartridge is, it should be ok.
