I think as previously said that the most likely cause is volt drop on the 12V cables,300W will pull 25A,you would need at least 4mm cable to cope with that load allowing for the inefficiency of the inverter,even then a run of 15 feet will drop the volts down to less than 11v.
Tongs, hairdryer, this is a joke right? I have longish hair and wouldn't dream of taking a hairdryer camping. As long as I have factor 30 face cream, hair brush and my toothbrush I'm good to go. Our dog has more grooming aids 😆 get a life springs to mind.
